Money is a strong energy which can force us into being a miser, an unhealthy extravagant spender, or a poverty conscious thinker. Observe; all is living in fear. However, you can also have a relationship with money that is balanced and sustains continuous growth for both you and money.....
Money is the root of many mental anguishes. The happiness of having money is often followed by the depression of lacking it. It is an emotional roller coaster within most humans. It can cause disease, death and divorce or it can cultivate health, wealth, and happiness. Observe - no matter what the experience it is always in constant flux of highs and lows. Even the wealthiest man worries about his income. Anyone can gain or lose money in an instant.
More and more we are taught that without money you simply can’t live. We know this is an untrue statement because if we were kicked out of our house for nonpayment of rent we would most likely continue to live. Just not with shelter. Here we can see it is the shelter we crave and not the money. Be aware of your cravings. A craving indicates fear and lack.
Money does not affect your survival as a human, though this is what many of us were taught. If you understand who you are in relation to money then you will have a balanced relationship with it. The constant highs and lows are an indication that money controls you. But observe, you cannot control money. Since you cannot control money you must learn to understand it.
As humans we are in a relationship with everything around us. It is not only our interactions with other humans that are relationships, but we also have relationships with our car, our house, our environment etc. Learn what your relationship with money is and learn how to accept it into your life.
Just as we explore our human relationships when they go array, we must explore our beliefs around money when it is not working for us. When money consumes your thoughts that means the relationship needs your attention.
Our beliefs are programmed from babyhood to early teens. Belief means you are either for or against something. Explore what you were told about money from your earliest age. If you heard repetitive statements such as “we can’t afford it,” “money doesn’t grow on trees,” “waste not want not,” “You have to work hard for money,” “Money is not easy to come by” etc. then your programmed belief as you go through life will always reflect the feelings incurred by these statements.
These sabotaging thoughts lie hidden within your subconscious. They remain unknown to you until you take an explorative journey to learn about yourself and how you process information. The key is to connect your subconscious thoughts to your conscious thoughts, creating a smooth flow of consciousness.
Expansion of energy or supportive thoughts opens consciousness, creating flow. Contraction of energy or unsupportive thoughts cause energy to halt. For example; if you think “I cannot afford it” – this contracts energy, but asking “how can I afford it?” – is expansion of energy. Expansion opens the universe to flow towards you and you towards it.
Any belief which you are against will halt the flow of energy. Any belief which you are against must be questioned to verify the validity of the claim. By asking questions and inquiring it opens you to receiving.
Once you identify your beliefs you can explore their validity – meaning observe how these beliefs play out in your life. Example; when you go shopping do you settle for what you don’t want because you believe what you do want is out of reach? Or does everything appear “too expensive?” Learning what you are for or against requires 200% self-honesty.
When you understand how these beliefs play out in your life then you are able to make choices that are supportive to your finances.
The similarity of both wealthy and poor is fear of money. Both live in constant anxiety of having and not having. However, the balanced man is in a flow. He neither wants less nor dreams of more. He enjoys the moment as it is.
Manifestation of money can only happen when you realize that the need to manifest is a subconscious feeling of lack. Explore the lack and open the road to abundance in all areas of your life, not only money. Example: A person wishing to win the lottery should not question “why don’t I win?” instead the question should be “why do I feel poor?” Observe – a need to win the lottery would never happen if you didn’t feel subconsciously poor.
Life is a duality. The way you perceive the world determines the experiences you will cultivate. On my travels across the world it was interesting indeed to see how happy the poorest of the poor could be and the misery of the rich. Likewise, it was duly noted the misery of the poor and the happiness of the rich. Nothing is simply back and white. Only in preset moment awareness can you see the comedic movie of life.
To master money is to release the need to manifest it. A wise man knows money is based on his perception and lives in vigilant awareness of its impermanence.
